Love" fails to chart. Simultaneously, Carl leaves the band following growing unease with
their lack of rehearsals and choice of material, and states that he won't rejoin until "1981

Marilyn's divorce becomes final on the 4th.
Carl embarks on a short solo tour of clubs to promote his album, commencing on the 5th in|

from Long Beach which is rightly considered to be the worst the band have ever done;
Brian's performance is terrifyingly bad and the rest of them aren't much better.
