February	The We Gotta Groove box set (3LP/3CD) is released on the 13th. On the 27th, Alan and   the Pet Sounds Band play the entire Love You album live in LA.
March	On the 3rd, the news breaks that Bruce will no longer tour with the band on a regular basis,   but will continue to make special guest appearences. His replacement is Chris Cron.
April	Brian Wilson On Tour 1999-2007 is released as a limited edition LP (of 2000) for Record   Store Day.
May	On the 11th Mike, Alan & Bruce "reunite" at the Capitol tower to promote the 60th   anniversary of Pet Sounds. On the 15th, Pet Sounds is ratified by the RIAA as having sold   two million copies. At the same times, seventeen singles are also ratified as having sold   between four million and half a million copies for a total of thirty two more awards.   "Kokomo" and "Wouldn't It Be Nice" are the four million titles. At the end of the month   Mike is briefly hospitalised for a respiratory issue.
June	Four dates early in the month are cancelled due to Mike's continuing illness. The Beach   Boys play the UK from the 14th to the 21st for the 60th anniversary of Pet Sounds. Alan   and the Pet Sounds Band tour Australia June 23rd-July 2nd (postponed from fall 2025).   However, the three projected New Zealand dates are cancelled.
