BRUCE JOHNSTON
SOLO US DISCOGRAPHY
| |||
Bruce's musical history actually predates that of The Beach Boys by two to three years. The releases detailed below are only those featuring Bruce as a major vocal performer (his backing vocal and production credits are too many to detail here - maybe later...). Single sides lacking his participation are noted in italics and instrumental sides are underlined. It's perhaps interesting to note that, while recording his first few Beach Boys vocals, Bruce was still under contract to, and released songs on, Columbia Records. 99.9% of the information contined herein is taken from Brad Elliott's seminal volume Surf's Up! The Beach Boys On Record 1961-1981, now sadly out of print. Positions for releases that charted are indicated thus: [#4]. As ever, any additions and correction to the usual address. | |||
