  April Brian's new album, No Pier Pressure - his first for over three years - is released on Capitol. It charts at #28 and #25 in the US and UK respectively. In the latest round of BB musical chairs, Matt Jardine rejoins Brian's band, replacing Brian "Ike" Eichenburger who in turn joins Mike & Bruce, replacing the departing Randell Kirsch. Jack Rieley, manager, lyricist and occaisional vocalist 1970-73, died in Berlin on the 17th. He was 72.
  May Mike & Bruce, joined by David tour the UK 27th-31st, playing Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham & two nights at London's Royal Albert Hall.
  June The tour wraps with two final shows in Brighton and Trondheim, Norway (3rd & 6th). On the 5th, the biopic of Brian's life, Love & Mercy, is theatrically released to excellent reviews. On the 18th, Brian embarks on a 19 date tour of the US & Canada, which wraps July 25th. Brian's 8 date September UK tour is "postponed" to 2016.
  July Brian's second autobiography, I Am Brian Wilson (initially set for an October publication), is put back to October 2016. Original co-author Jason Fine (editor of Men's Journal) is replaced.
  September Brian plays a one off date in San Francisco on the 11th, with Alan & Blondie.
  October Brian embarks on an 18-date tour commencing the 9th, again with Alan & Blondie. During October, Billy Hinsche subs for Darian, who is touring with The Zombies. David is hospitalised mid-month for chest pains and undergoes an emergency procedue.
  November Mike and Bruce tour Australia & New Zealand (11th-24th), then play Luxembourg on the 30th. Brian tour continues. Capitol release Beach Boys Party ! Uncovered and Unplugged, a 2CD reissue of the album minus the "party" overdubs plus extensive session material. Mike releases a Christmas 'single', a reworking of the unreleased 1977 track "Alone On Christmas Day": Bill Murray's A Very Murray Christmas features a cover by French band Pheonix.
  December Mike and Bruce headline "Night of The Proms" in Germany, a 16 date/11 city event backed by a symphony orchestra. Other artists include John Miles. Brian's tour wraps with three early December dates. Live in Chicago 1965 (both shows) is this years copyright extention release. With the assistance of Scott Bennet, Alan releases his own Christmas single, "Hurry Up , Hurry Up Santa Claus", to raise cash for children's cancer charities.
