Year by year BW concert totals 1985-2022
   There was a time, in the early 80s, when the notion of Brian touring at all, much less solo, was close to unthinkable. Yet, the most unlikely possibilities have a knack of coming to pass - I give you The Smile Sessions -  and accordingly, since the late 90s, Brian has become a seasoned, if sometimes uncomfortable, live performer to the point where his solo shows may well outnumber his concerts with The Beach Boys. The chart below presents a year by year, region by region list of all his solo shows, from the two/three/four/more song sets of the mid-80s to the full on tours starting in 1999, with the 2012 50th Anniversary Beach Boys gigs included for reference only. Considering only his solo shows, the totals to the end of 2022 (and the effective end of his touring) are as follows:

Rest of the Americas - 37  (incl. cruise: 2)
Europe - 188 (British Isles: 116)
Rest of the World - 58

  2020 & 2021 were of course seriously disrupted by the CoVid-19 pandemic and following the end of the 2022 "joint" tour with Chicago, and subsequent events, it would seem reasonable to assume that Brian's touring days are over.

Those of a mathematical bent will note that a) he's played 502 "themed" concerts and that b) of those 297 were Pet Sounds in its entirety, so he can be forgiven for being a little weary of it.
