x
1
A benefit concert for Cambodian Relief.
2
Dennis & Christine McVie were scheduled to appear at this Cambodian relief
benefit show, but cancelled at the last moment.
3
This was a session to overdub additional instruments on to the original late 60s
  recordings.
4
A presidential campaign benefit for George Bush Sr.
5
A documentaryof the making of KTSA which included a writing session for "Goin'
To The Beach". Dennis is conspicuous by his absence: no-one so much as mentions
him. The concert sections were taped January 30th.
6
Brian & Mike spent a week at Mike's studio recording these songs. This version of
"Be My Baby" formed the basis of  the track featured on Mike's 1981 solo album.
Brian produced most of these sessions.WAVES - Western Audio-Visual
Entertainment Services - was the old LoveSongs mobile studio installed in Mike's
  Santa Barbara house.
7
Brian didn't produce "Children Of The Night".
8
Brian didn't produce "Baby I'm A Changed Man". Both songs are remakes.
9
This title is apparently a medley of Brian's synth-driven remakes of "My Solution"
  and "Shortenin' Bread|".
10
Dennis returns to the drum stool.
11
Filmed and recorded (and heavily overdubbed and sweetened) for a proposed video
album, this show was also broadcast on London Capital Radio - not live, but in an
  undubbed state.
12
Also filmed and recorded (and equally 'enhanced'), this show was broadcast in
shortened form in October: however it was broadcast live on FM radio in the
Washington area. The contrast between the 'raw' and sweetened version is
  considerable.
13
This was a Carl solo 'gig' (backed by the house band) for the Movement of Spiritual
Inner Awareness, a new age organization he was involved with up to his passing.
14
This short-lived show featured footage shot during the band's October residency at
  Caesar's Palace, Lake Tahoe.
15
The legendary interview with Joan Lunden: Dennis was totally wasted and unable to
either sit still or upright, or indeed form a coherent sentence, while Brian was doing
his best 'deer-in-the-headlights' impression. The steam was (understandably)
coming out of Mike's ears. A full-on publicity disaster. It's on Youtube.
16
The band performed a hits medley: Brian was there but Dennis refused to play a surf
  medley and Bobby Figueroa subbed.
17
Brian was present at the ceremony, Dennis wasn't. The Beach Boys star is currently
  located at 1500 Vine Street.
18
Jan & Dean and The Honeys joined for the encore.
