1
Carl announced that Dennis had been taken ill and flown home. He didn't play the
remaining two dates. Who did drum for the band is a good question.
2
One of the gigs arranged as a result of Carl's draft problems.
3
Billy Hinsche subbed for Mike at this show: he'd returned to India to see the
Maharishi again, and had trouble getting back in time.
4
Arranged by UK DJ Jimmy Saville, the band turned up with three acoustic guitars, a
tambourine and a pair of drumsticks, thus giving one of the very first ever
'unplugged' gigs. Footage of this unique show was later shown on Top Of The Pops
5
The festival apparently ran for four days, but the band only played this day, and
along with the other artists listed had their set recorded for later broadcast
(apparently on Radio 1). The BB tracks were "I Get Around", "Wouldn't It Be
Nice", "Break Away", "Sloop John B" and "Cotton Fields".
6
The band dropped out due to the very tight travelling time from the previous show.
Four other acts also dropped out due to various reasons: Dave Dee... etc, Chicken
Shack, The Tremeloes and Procul Harum.
7
This was just one track for a completed album - A World Of Peace Must Come -
that Brian produced for Steve Kalinich around this time. It's possible - but not
proven - that the 'untitled' sessions on 10/28 and 11/3 were also for this project.
8
The 'legendary' Thanksgiving show where about 200 fans showed up. According to
Fred Vail, some of the shows on this tour were cancelled.
9
These shows were cancelled because Mike had a court appearence on the morning of
the 2nd in connection with his divorce proceedings. The gigs were tentatively
rescheduled for 1970, but never happened.
10
Eight songs from the June 20th concert:  "Help Me Rhonda", "I Can Hear Music", "I
Get Around", "Sloop John B", "Do It Again", "Cottonfields", "Barbara Ann" and
  "God Only Knows".
11
Syndicated TV show, taped in Cincinnati November 25th or 26th. It's possible the
  band debuted "Slip On Through".
12
As more sessions are held at Brian's home studio, the documentation becomes more
lax: while most of these dates are accurate, to be frank, some of those noted ?? are
  little more than semi-educated guesses.
